There are many ways to come together as a community at Far Hills in support of our students and teachers. Learn more about this year’s signature events.
Trick or Trot 5K & Cross Country Fun Run
The inaugural Trick or Trot 5K & Cross Country Fun Run and Carnival held on October 29 was a huge success! With more than 350 students, alumni, faculty/staff, families, grandparents and friends in attendance, this was truly a Far Hills community event. See photos from the 5K race, Fun Run obstacle course and carnival. Many thanks to our event chairs Sety Britton, Lori Cichlar and Karen Martin, planning committee and volunteers who helped make the Trick or Trot such a memorable day. Mark your calendar for next year’s Trick or Trot on October 28, 2018.
Book Fair 2017
The Book Fair was held on campus in early November 2017 and highlighted the importance of reading. Guest authors visited with students across grades to inspire their love of literature. Thank you to our event chairs Helen Dunning and Vicki Lawton and volunteers for making this FH tradition such a success!
Student Raffle and Features Auction
Winners of the time-honored Student Raffle were selected during a school-wide assembly in November 2017, and they are now proud recipients of great prizes, such as “Head of School for the Day,” personalized cookie party for the class, and a trip to a Rutgers basketball game. The Features Auction offered a variety of fantastic silent auction packages for families and parents. The auction was a huge success and raised more than $25,000 to support FH students and teachers. Congratulations to all the raffle and auction winners! Many thanks to our event chairs Puja Gaglani and Stephanie Glickman, faculty, staff, committee members and volunteers who continue to make the Student Raffle and Features Auction extraordinary year after year.
The Hills are Alive Presents “Duelly Noted”
Featuring the wildly entertaining dueling pianos act “2 Grand Entertainment,” battling Princeton University a cappella groups “The Tigerlilies” and “Footnotes,” and several surprise Far Hills parent performances, the inaugural The Hills are Alive event on February 24, 2018, rocked the house! See photos from the event.
Set against a picturesque sunny day at Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville, the 2018 Golf Classic was a great success, raising $240,000 to support our students and teachers. Many thanks to our event chairs John Dziadzio, Chris Volpe and Adam Winters, the entire Golf Committee and all of our sponsors for their incredible work and support.
Photo highlights from the tournament and dinner are coming soon!
This party is an important fundraising community event that happens every other year. It brings together families for an evening of cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, and raffle prizes. Our next Gala is scheduled for late Winter 2019.
