Falcon Supper Club

Far Hills Country Day School’s first-ever Falcon Supper Club was an outstanding success, bringing together 150 guests across 8 dinner parties for an evening that radiated warmth, connection, and purpose. The night began on campus with spirited cocktails, heartfelt remarks, and inspiring stories from faculty and alumni—each one reinforcing the power of the Far Hills mission. As families moved into intimate, in-home dinners hosted throughout the community, the energy only grew. 

What made the Falcon Supper Club truly remarkable was the impact it generated. Through the live and silent auctions, raffle, and paddle raise, the event netted more than $164,000, with an additional $70,000 raised through ticket sales and sponsorships—funds that go directly toward faculty salaries, benefits, and professional development. The overwhelmingly positive response to this new event format, paired with the generosity of our hosts and families, ensured that expenses remained low and results exceeded expectations. At its heart, the Falcon Supper Club showcased the extraordinary strength of the Far Hills community and its dedication to supporting our exceptional educators. 

Support, Savor, & Sip: Our Annual Fundraiser

In the fall of 2024, we held Support, Sip, and Savor: A Night at the Park Avenue Club—our first-ever fall fundraiser and a resounding success! Just two months into the school year, the energy, excitement, and care shown by parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Far Hills was nothing short of inspiring. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $100,000 through sponsorships, ticket sales, the live and silent auctions, and raffle contributions. These funds have had an immediate and meaningful impact on our students and teachers, directly supporting the academic and extracurricular programs that make Far Hills extraordinary.

The night was filled with laughter, connection, and generosity—from the buzz of the auction to lively conversations over curated wine and bourbon pairings. We are especially grateful to our nearly 40 generous sponsors and local businesses whose support made this event possible. To everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, or simply shared in this memorable night—thank you. Together, we created an unforgettable evening and demonstrated once again the strength and spirit of the Far Hills community. Your commitment helps build a bright future filled with opportunity, growth, and joy.

2025 Golf & pickleball Classic 

In April, members of the Far Hills community gathered at the beautiful Roxiticus Golf Club for a day full of competition, camaraderie, and celebration. This year’s event was especially memorable as we introduced pickleball for the first time, offering even more ways for our community to come together in support of our students and teachers. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, players, and supporters, we raised more than $105,000 from our 47 sponsors and 100 golf and pickleball players, directly benefiting the exceptional educational and extracurricular programs that define Far Hills.

Casino Night

In spring 2024, Far Hills hosted a memorable Casino Night as part of its biennial Far Hills Presents fundraiser. This cherished tradition brought together parents, teachers, alumni, and friends to celebrate the school’s vibrant community and raise funds for the Lower School playground—a cornerstone of every child’s experience at Far Hills.

The event highlighted the critical role of play in child development, fostering creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and resilience. Guests enjoyed an evening of casino games, mingling, and bidding on unique auction items, including exclusive experiences and one-of-a-kind treasures. The energy was electric as the community rallied together for an important cause.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of attendees and supporters, Far Hills unveiled an innovative, inclusive play space in fall 2024, designed to ignite imagination, foster friendships, and promote physical and emotional growth. The new playground now stands as a testament to the power of community and a lasting gift to the students of Far Hills. Casino Night not only exceeded its goals but also celebrated the school’s deep commitment to play, learning, and unity.

2023 Golf Classic 

The Fall 2023 Golf Classic at the prestigious Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone brought together parents, alumni, and friends to support Far Hills’ academic and extracurricular programs. Golfers enjoyed the renowned Highland Course and, for some, the Par 3 Hickory Course, creating opportunities for camaraderie and fun across 36 holes. Morning and afternoon groups began their day with breakfast or lunch, offering time to socialize and build excitement. Non-golfers joined the evening dinner and auction, adding to the inclusive, festive atmosphere.

Proceeds from sponsorships and the auction supported key initiatives, including classroom technology upgrades, enhanced campus security, and professional development for faculty and staff. The Golf Classic was more than a day on the greens—it was a celebration of community and commitment to excellence at Far Hills.

Light the Night

Our Spring 2023 Gala, Light the Night, was a testament to the generosity of our school community. Donors, volunteers, and attendees shone brightly as we raised significant funds for new technology for our classrooms, expanded extracurricular programs, and strengthened our financial aid program. The success of Light the Night is a testament to the incredible support and dedication of our school family.

Funds raised during the night’s Fund-a-Need project were dedicated specifically to the school's Pond Restoration Project. This multi-year and ongoing project will help protect our on-campus pond as a natural resource, continue to restore its ecosystem to healthy and sustainable levels, increase accessibility for students and teachers by creating a safe and secure pathway, establish a second access point for scientific discovery and expanded data collection, and provide an outdoor classroom space with the addition of a permanent dock. In time, Far Hills will have a home for outdoor, experiential learning that encourages scientific curiosity, inspires artistic expression, and serves as a peaceful space for mindful moments.

In 2021, our Fund-a-Need honored retiring Director of Physical Education Linda Houghland by establishing the Linda Houghland Adventure Trip Endowment Fund. Adventure Trips are one of the school's signature experiential learning opportunities, and each year, they provide students with incredibly impactful educational experiences. The establishment of the endowment will ensure that future generations of Far Hill students will benefit from the Adventure Trips program and that Linda's impact on our students will last well beyond her retirement. 

Themes for our Galas and Far Hills Presents events cover a wide spectrum of fun and entertaining, all the while organized to excite guests and raise important funds for the school. These events aren't successful without the generosity of our school community through their time and treasures, and we are grateful for the community's commitment each year to the success of our events, big or small.
