The Annual Green & White Dinner Celebrates the Class of 2026

On Monday, June 8, the Far Hills Grade 8 class and their families gathered for the annual Green & White Dinner, a cherished tradition that honors the graduating class with an evening of celebration, reflection, and connection. Held in honor of the Class of 2026, the event brought together students, families, and faculty to celebrate their accomplishments, recognize their growth, and reflect on the lasting contributions they have made to the Far Hills community.

The evening carried a sense of both joy and nostalgia, as conversations and laughter filled the room while guests reflected on years of shared experiences. From early Lower School memories to their final days in Upper School, the Class of 2026 has grown together in ways that were evident throughout the night—through stories shared, smiles exchanged, and the strong bonds that define the group.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of students and families who have been integral members of the Far Hills community. As graduates were acknowledged, there was a collective appreciation for their dedication, character, and the many ways they have contributed to school life. The support of their families, who have partnered closely with the school throughout the years, was also warmly recognized.

Another memorable moment of the evening was the distribution of the 2025–2026 yearbook. As the first students to receive and flip through its pages, the graduating class enjoyed revisiting memories from throughout the school year while sharing the experience with classmates and families. This year's yearbook was dedicated to Roseanne Panico, Art Teacher and Visual Arts Department Manager, in recognition of her lasting impact on the Far Hills community. Through her creativity, guidance, and unwavering support of students over the years, Roseanne has inspired countless young artists and helped shape memorable experiences for generations of Far Hills students. The dedication was a heartfelt tribute to a beloved faculty member and a well-deserved honor.

Adding to the spirit of the evening was a special slideshow that captured the Class of 2026's journey. Filled with moments of laughter, friendship, and growth, it offered a touching look back at the experiences that have shaped their time at Far Hills—from classroom milestones to performances, athletics, and everyday moments in between. The slideshow also featured words of wisdom for the graduates, including advice and reflections from their teachers as well as heartfelt messages from their preschool buddies. These thoughtful contributions highlighted the special connections that make the Far Hills community unique and served as a reminder of the impact students have across every grade level.

Head of School Georgia Zaiser reflected on the significance of the occasion, sharing, “The Green & White Dinner is a beautiful reminder of the relationships and experiences that make Far Hills so special. The Class of 2026 has brought heart, leadership, and a genuine sense of community to our school. We are incredibly proud of who they have become and grateful for the impact they will leave behind.”

As the evening came to a close, there was a shared sense of gratitude and anticipation.
