Spring Athletics Season Showcases Growth, Grit, and Falcon Pride

This spring, Far Hills athletics showcased determination, resilience, teamwork, and growth across every level of competition. From exciting victories and hard-fought contests to skill development and team bonding, our student-athletes embraced the season with energy, sportsmanship, and Falcon pride. Whether competing on the lacrosse field, tennis court, or track, each team demonstrated a commitment to improving every day while representing the Far Hills community with heart and character.

The Boys’ Lacrosse program built on the momentum of its 2025 MSAC Championship season with another strong spring campaign. Both the A and B teams opened the season with impressive performances while continuing to develop fundamentals, communication, and confidence on the field. Throughout the season, the Falcons battled through competitive matchups, earned key victories, and demonstrated resilience in several close contests. The season concluded with an exciting MSAC semifinal appearance, highlighting the team’s commitment, growth, and strong sense of teamwork across all grade levels.

The Boys’ Tennis team enjoyed a season focused on development, perseverance, and collaboration. Through daily practices and competitive matches, players worked to strengthen serving, footwork, doubles strategy, and overall consistency on the court. The team showed tremendous positivity and sportsmanship throughout the season, while experienced players helped support and encourage newer teammates. As the spring progressed, the Falcons continued to grow both as athletes and as a team, building confidence and strong connections along the way.

The Girls’ Lacrosse team had an exciting and competitive spring season defined by growth, resilience, and a strong postseason run. Throughout the season, the team was tested by a challenging schedule that included close, back-and-forth matchups and a tightly contested tie, along with several competitive conference and out-of-conference games. Even in tough moments, the Falcons consistently responded with composure, strong midfield play, and standout defensive efforts, continuing to improve their communication, draw control execution, and transition play as the season progressed. In the MSAC playoffs, the team elevated its performance with a strong quarterfinal victory before earning a dramatic overtime semifinal win to advance to the championship game. The season concluded with a hard-fought championship matchup, and while the result did not go their way, the Falcons finished with a winning record and a postseason run that showcased their grit, unity, and steady growth from start to finish.

The Track & Field team had a strong spring marked by steady growth, personal bests, and standout performances across all event areas. From their first meet, athletes showed enthusiasm and rapid improvement in sprints, distance races, jumps, and throws, gaining confidence with each competition. At a large invitational meet, the team continued to rise to the challenge against strong competition, earning more personal records and valuable experience in both familiar and new events. The season concluded at the MSAC Championships, where the Falcons delivered top finishes, multiple personal bests, and impressive effort in challenging conditions. Throughout the spring, the team’s resilience, sportsmanship, and support for one another stood out as defining strengths.

As the spring athletics season comes to a close, we celebrate all of our student-athletes, coaches, and families for their dedication, effort, and support. This season was a reflection of the energy, character, and teamwork that define Far Hills athletics, and we look forward to even more success in the future. Go Falcons!
