A Heartfelt Lesson from Dr. Leonard Lee
On Monday, February 10, our Upper School students had a truly inspiring experience as Dr. Leonard Lee P'25, an esteemed Cardiothoracic Surgeon and parent of Grade 8 student Lauren, visited to share his expertise.
Dr. Lee captivated students with a deep dive into the wonders of the human heart, discussing its function, the importance of heart health, and what it takes to become a surgeon. He engaged the audience with powerful visuals, including videos and images from an open-heart surgery, giving students a rare glimpse into the world of medicine.
Beyond the science, Dr. Lee shared his personal journey—what inspired him to pursue a career in surgery, the challenges he faced, and the rewards of saving lives. His passion and dedication left a lasting impression on our students, sparking curiosity and admiration for the medical field.
We are grateful to Dr. Lee for taking the time to educate and inspire our students. Moments like these showcase the strength of our Far Hills community and the incredible opportunities we provide to ignite curiosity and lifelong learning.
