Grandparents and Special Friends Bring Stories to Life at Far Hills

Grandparents and Special Friends Bring Stories to Life at Far Hills

Over the past three weeks, Far Hills Country Day School's Preschool through Grade 2 classrooms have been buzzing with excitement, as grandparents and special friends joined in to read books to the students. This heartwarming tradition brought generations together, filling the school with laughter, love, and cherished stories that sparked imaginations.

Each visit offered a unique experience, as our special guests shared their favorite children's books, creating lasting memories and fostering a love of reading. Whether it was a classic tale or a modern adventure, the joy in the room was palpable as these stories came to life. It was truly a beautiful sight to see the bond between generations grow stronger, one story at a time.

A special thank you goes out to the parents who volunteered as classroom escorts, ensuring the event ran smoothly and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Another huge thank you to all the grandparents and special friends who joined us in this amazing Far Hills tradition. Your support is invaluable!

As these weeks draw to a close, we celebrate the magic of books and the joy they bring to our students, teachers, and families. Here's to the love of learning and the power of storytelling that transcends generations at Far Hills!
