Grade 4 Students Hit the Mountain Bike Trail

On Friday, September 26, Grade 4 students traded the gym for the outdoors as they took on the Mountain Bike Trail during their Physical Education class.

The trail, surrounded by the changing fall colors, gave students the chance to practice important biking skills like balance, control, and endurance. Each section of the course brought a new challenge, from winding turns to small obstacles, and students showed determination as they worked their way through.

What stood out most was the way the group supported one another. Classmates cheered each other on, offered tips, and celebrated small successes together. The ride became not just about individual effort, but about teamwork and encouragement.

Mountain biking also gave students a chance to see how fitness connects with focus and confidence. Tackling a tough spot on the trail or pushing through a steep section showed them how perseverance pays off. At the same time, being outdoors added a sense of freedom and fun that made the experience memorable.

By the end of class, students left the trail not only with stronger biking skills but also with a sense of accomplishment and shared pride in what they achieved together.
