Three New Families Join Alumni Grove

Three New Families Join Alumni Grove

On Monday, May 8, Far Hills Country Day School (Far Hills) welcomed three new families to Alumni Grove, a peaceful, picturesque corner of campus dedicated to the families who have sent multiple generations of children to the school.

“The roots and history of Far Hills Country Day School run deep and is an area in our community that we love to celebrate,” said Georgia S. Zaiser, Far Hills Head of School. “We were thrilled to unveil Alumni Grove last year by honoring four legacy families that had enrolled their children for September 2022, and were equally as excited to watch this piece of campus grow by adding three new families.”

“Alumni Grove is the perfect example of what makes Far Hills special,” Zaiser continued. “We are a family school and a place that welcomes and embraces all members of a family—parents, grandparents, and children. It is an honor to watch not only the generational growth that takes place here at Far Hills but the individual growth of each child that enters these doors. ”

As a Preschool–Grade 8 school, Far Hills believes that learning, especially in the youngest years, should be full of joy, play, and of exploration. Our 54-acre campus allows students to do just that every day. On campus, you can find the Ropes Course, Various Athletic Fields and Courts, our playgrounds, and the pond. Alumni Grove is a living, breathing testament to the strong bonds we share across generations and the memories that are engrained on the grounds of our campus.

“Alumni Grove is our way of giving back to our legacy families, those who have been with us for two, or in some cases three, generations,” said Linda Corcoran, Far Hills Director of Engagement and Philanthropy. “It is a privilege to be connected to each of them over such a long period of time and in such a meaningful way.”

The future of Alumni Grove includes honoring all current alumni families, as well as those who enter Far Hills in the future.
