Engineers Make "Room on the Broom!"

A mystery reader recently visited one of our Kindergarten classes. She read students the book Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson.

Students then worked with a partner to engineer and build a broom that would hold all the characters safely.  It was harder than we thought! We practiced communication, planning, resilience, perseverance, and structural concepts.
