Grade 5 Student Wins Local Art Award

A talented Far Hills fifth-grader took first place in an art competition with this pencil sketch on February 10. The realistic illustration of a water glass captured the attention of the judges at a contest held at Sunshine Studios, where the student has been taking classes for two years. Fifth-grade teachers and students marveled at the winning piece as well as the other drawings in his impressive portfolio, which included a collection of vivid soft drink cans. What a refreshing talent!
