This week's #FeatureFriday highlights Grade 7 student Jayden L. Earlier in the year, Jayden applied to the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Program (CTY) to provide him with additional challenges. He recently participated in the CTY talent search and received the Grand Honors Award, CTY's highest honor.
According to Johns Hopkins, the Grand Honors Award is CTY's highest honor, given to students among the top tier of their worldwide talent search program. The program requires testing to qualify.
Jayden earned this award by scoring in the 96th percentile on both subjects (math and reading) on an above-grade-level exam, the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).
