National Hispanic Heritage Month

Fourth-graders in Señora Saba's Spanish class are preparing to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins today, September 15, 2020.  While the national holiday honors Hispanic and Latinx-Americans, the fourth grade expands its research project parameters. They choose any notable Hispanic and Latinx figure whose achievements enrich our lives and whose talents inspire the world. 

Students flex their world language skills as the project includes both a written and oral presentation component. 

This project has become a favorite among students each year and is a great way to open a dialogue about National Hispanic Heritage Month. We can't wait to see the presentations this year!
