2025 Far Hills World Culture Festival
On January 29, Far Hills Country Day School opened its doors to families and friends for a memorable evening at the World Culture Festival, a colorful and immersive event celebrating the many diverse cultures within the Far Hills community. Designed to encourage exploration, understanding, and appreciation of global traditions, the festival transformed our Athletic Center into an extraordinary world tour filled with sights, sounds, and experiences from around the globe.
This year’s festival was packed with activities for everyone. Families were delighted to sample traditional teas and coffees, watch a few performances from some of our ambassadors, and enjoy a live mariachi band! The festival’s atmosphere was one of community and celebration, where families could embark on an interactive cultural journey together, learning more about the backgrounds of their friends and classmates. With 25 countries represented, incredible performances, and even a special video shoutout from José Sandoval, Consul General of Ecuador in New York, this year’s event was truly extraordinary.
As part of Far Hills Country Day School’s commitment to fostering cultural awareness and unity, the World Culture Festival was a success and beloved by students, parents, and faculty alike. This year’s celebration not only deepened the community’s connection but also sparked curiosity and respect for the global cultures that shape our world.
With the festival's success and the warmth it inspired, Far Hills looks forward to continuing this tradition, further enriching the lives of everyone involved in the school community.
