Unity Day at Far Hills Country Day School

On October 16, Far Hills Country Day School proudly came together, wearing orange to symbolize our stand for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. This powerful visual statement reminded us all that bullying has no place in our community, and it reinforced the importance of creating a safe, welcoming environment for every student.

Unity Day, established by Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011, continues to inspire schools across the country, and at Far Hills, it serves as a special day to celebrate the strong friendships our students have fostered, as well as the sense of belonging that makes our school a close-knit family. By participating, we added our voices to the national movement that encourages understanding, empathy, and hope.

This year’s Unity Day was meaningful as students not only wore orange but also engaged in reflective discussions, team-building activities, and moments of connection that emphasized how we can all support one another. The energy on campus was amazing, with students of all grades embracing the message of unity and standing in solidarity with their peers.

Unity Day at Far Hills was more than just a celebration—it was a day that underscored our school’s commitment to fostering a safe and caring community where every student feels valued.
