I can’t believe what I just read. I haven’t stopped crying for an hour. Having you as a teacher has made such a significant impact on my life and I will always cherish the special memories we have experienced together. I felt an instant connection with you at the lunch table on my visit day and you were there for me right before I was driven to the hospital for my first shunt replacement. That is one of the most important and valuable memories I will hold in my heart. And then there’s when you asked me if I wanted to waltz with Keith Delaney, you let me borrow your sneakers when I forgot mine, and the best one of all “the Canoe” when I was so embarrassed because I dropped a breadstick in the utensil bin and many more. I wish you well, but can’t imagine you leaving without me saying one last goodbye. I will find a day when I don’t have school to come back to FH and give you one last hug. Hope to see you soon and stay in touch!
