Young Alumni Return to Campus to Kick Off Summer

On Thursday, June 4, Far Hills welcomed young alumni from the Classes of 2020–2025 back to campus for a special summer reunion. The evening provided alumni with an opportunity to reconnect with former classmates, faculty, and staff while enjoying a relaxed picnic gathering on the Upper School Patio.

As the school year came to a close, alumni returned to the place where many of their educational journeys began. Throughout the evening, graduates caught up with old friends, shared updates about high school and college experiences, and reminisced about favorite memories from their time at Far Hills.

The patio buzzed with conversation and laughter as alumni enjoyed catered snacks, lawn games, music, and a spirited round of spikeball on a beautiful June evening. Many also took the opportunity to head inside the Upper School building, revisiting former classrooms, walking the halls, and stopping to look at the Grade 8 Expo projects that were still on display.

Several alumni shared updates about their current schools and summer plans. Nate Lawton ’22 arrived wearing a Tufts University T-shirt and shared that he will be attending Tufts in the fall. Lucas DiPasquale ’24, who attends Pingry, recently returned from a Spring Intensive service trip to Guatemala, while Mia DiPasquale ’24 described a creative project in which she is making clothing from thrifted pieces as part of her own Spring Intensive experience.

For faculty and staff, the reunion offered a meaningful chance to see familiar faces and hear about the accomplishments, activities, and experiences alumni have pursued since graduating from Far Hills. Whether they graduated just last year or several years ago, alumni were welcomed back as valued members of the Far Hills community.

“One of the most rewarding parts of working in education is seeing our students continue to grow long after they leave Far Hills,” said Georgia Zaiser, Head of School. “It was wonderful to welcome alumni back to campus, hear about their experiences, and see the friendships and connections they built here still thriving years later. Nights like this remind us that once you're a Falcon, you're always part of the Far Hills community.”

The gathering served as a reminder that while students may leave campus, the connections formed during their time at Far Hills continue long after graduation. Events like the Young Alumni Reunion help strengthen those lifelong relationships and celebrate the lasting impact of a Far Hills education.

Far Hills looks forward to continuing to stay connected with its alumni community and welcoming graduates back to campus for future events and celebrations.
