Steven Corcoran ’21 Helps Delbarton Win First-Ever Morris County Bowling Title
Far Hills Country Day School Class of 2021 graduate Steven Corcoran has been a cornerstone of Delbarton School’s bowling team during their historic 2024–25 season. On January 15, 2025, Steven played a pivotal role in helping his team secure their first-ever Morris County Tournament title. His leadership and skill were further showcased on February 24, 2025, in the North II – Group 3 Sectional Championship against Nutley. Facing a significant deficit in Game 2, Steven delivered seven consecutive strikes, including two clutch ones in the 10th frame, leading Delbarton to a 938-909 victory and the championship title.
Throughout the season, Steven consistently stepped up in crucial moments. On February 11, 2025, in the regular-season finale against Warren Hills, he bowled a clean 238 in Game 1, contributing to the team’s impressive total pinfall of 973. Earlier, on February 4, 2025, against #4-ranked Kinnelon, Steven showcased his prowess with a clean 221 game, demonstrating his ability to excel against top-tier opponents. His clutch performance continued on February 14, 2025, during the state quarterfinals against Belleville, where he rolled four consecutive strikes to close Game 2, securing the team’s advancement to the semifinals.
From his formative years at Far Hills to his standout moments at Delbarton, Steven exemplifies the commitment, sportsmanship, and perseverance that define our alumni. We eagerly anticipate the continued success of this exceptional athlete.
