Sebastian Mueller '16 Continues to Excel at Quinnipiac University Baseball
Far Hills Country Day School alumnus Sebastian Mueller '16 has built a remarkable collegiate baseball career at Quinnipiac University, showcasing talent, tenacity, and leadership both on and off the field.
Mueller’s standout season came in 2023, when he played in 56 games, starting 55, and posted an impressive .311 batting average. His offensive power was undeniable, racking up 18 home runs, 10 doubles, and 54 RBIs. Some of his standout performances included a 4-for-6 game with three home runs against Niagara and a 5-for-6 game with five RBIs in a victory over Iona.
Though his senior year in the 2024 season saw limited playing time, Mueller continued to showcase his skills, starting 11 games and hitting .357 with one home run and 10 RBIs. His consistent performance at the plate and ability to drive in runs underscored his importance to the team.
Now in his graduate season, Mueller continues to make an impact. As of April 22, 2025, he has started all 37 games for the Bobcats, maintaining a .338 batting average with 11 home runs and 41 RBIs. He recently extended his hitting streak to seven games and delivered a solo home run in a tight 5–4 victory over Yale, further proving his consistency and leadership on the field.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Mueller has earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team for three consecutive years (2022–2024), a testament to his excellence in the classroom. Sebastian Mueller's journey is a shining example of how Far Hills graduates go on to lead, persevere, and succeed. His story continues to inspire our community and future generations of student-athletes.
