John Plummer ’21 Commits to Case Western Reserve Wrestling
John Plummer '21, hailing from Oldwick, New Jersey, has committed to Case Western Reserve University, where he will join the Spartans wrestling team. He shared his enthusiasm on social media, stating, "I will also be wrestling for Case Western. Go Spartans! Can't wait to meet you all."
During his time at St. Andrew's School, John exemplified the qualities of an ideal wrestler: strength, determination, and sportsmanship. Wrestling Head Coach Phil Davis remarked, "John always gives 110%," highlighting his unwavering commitment to the sport.
John's journey to wrestling was preceded by his involvement in ice hockey and competitive sailing. Despite his prowess as a skater, he found his true passion on the wrestling mat during his IV Form year. His father, a semi-professional hockey player, influenced his early athletic pursuits, but wrestling allowed John to carve out his own path and excel. St. Andrew's School | Delaware
We congratulate John on his commitment to Case Western Reserve University and look forward to his continued success both on and off the mat.
