Cam Fernandez ’17 Named Offensive Player of the Year

Cam Fernandez, a proud member of the Far Hills Class of 2017, has been named the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year by the Conference of New England (CNE) for his outstanding season with Endicott College's men’s lacrosse team.

This prestigious award honors the top offensive player across the conference and is a testament to Cam’s grit, leadership, and talent. A standout on the field all season, Cam tallied 75 points on 36 goals and 39 assists, leading the Gulls in both total points and assists. He also recorded multiple hat tricks and helped guide Endicott to a strong postseason showing.

“Watching Cam’s development over the years has been incredibly rewarding,” said Ron Sansone, Director of Athletics and Physical Education. “He was always a driven, coachable athlete with a true passion for the game. To see him now earning major collegiate honors is not only exciting—it’s a reminder of what’s possible when talent meets relentless effort.”

On May 17, 2025, Cam graduated from Endicott College during its 85th Commencement Ceremony held at Hempstead Stadium. The ceremony featured keynote speaker Ambassador “Sully” Sullenberger, renowned for his heroic landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River.

Cam’s journey from Far Hills Country Day School to Morristown-Beard School to collegiate athletic excellence is an inspiring example of perseverance, hard work, and passion. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and can’t wait to see what he does next.
