Alumni Spotlight: Kate Whitman Annis '92, P'26
We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Kate Whitman Annis, a distinguished alumna of our school and a current parent in our community. Kate has recently been appointed Vice President of Adult Hockey on the Atlantic Affiliate Executive Board, bringing her extensive expertise and passion for the sport to this leadership role.
Kate’s contributions to hockey are nothing short of remarkable. As Executive Director of the Devils Youth Foundation, she oversees initiatives that have awarded over $1.12 million in grants this year alone, supporting hockey and community programs across New Jersey. Her leadership embodies the power of sports to foster positive change and create lasting community impact.
Beyond her executive role, Kate coaches the Eastside High School girls’ varsity team and has a history of guiding young athletes, having coached at The Pingry School and the New Jersey Colonials. Her career also includes serving as assistant coach and general manager of the Metropolitan Riveters and Director of Hockey Operations for professional teams like the Minnesota Whitecaps and Buffalo Beauts.
Kate holds an MBA from Solvay Brussels School of Business and a bachelor's in political science from Wesleyan University, where she played varsity hockey and lacrosse. Her dedication to sports, community, and youth development continues to inspire those around her.
