Far Hills Book Fair Turns the Page on Another Successful Year!
The annual Scholastic Book Fair at Far Hills was a resounding success, bringing together students, teachers, and families for three days of literary excitement in the Performing Arts Center. From March 4–6, book lovers of all ages explored a wide selection of reads, participated in special events, and helped support the school—all while fostering a love of reading.
- Total Books Sold: Around 1,390 books–enough to fill bookshelves across campus!
- Teacher Wishlist Book Purchased: 130 books were generously purchased for classroom libraries with Ms. Porcello's and Mr. Yu's Preschool class with the most purchased books.
- Most Popular Books: 2025 Guinness Book of World Records and Diary of a Wimpy Kid #19
- Most Popular Genre: Non-fiction was a big hit!
- Breakfast & Books Success: Upper School students enjoyed a special breakfast on March 5, followed by an engaging virtual author visit with Wendy Mass before diving into the Book Fair.
- Lower School Author Visit: Peter H. Reynolds inspired Preschool–Grade 4 students during a virtual visit on February 21, sharing Be You! and celebrating creativity and perseverance.
- Online Book Fair Impact: The excitement continued beyond campus, with families and friends shopping online through March 16—directly benefiting Far Hills with each purchase.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Book Fair chairs, Anne Albright P’29, ’32 and Christine Antoneck P’21, ’22, ’26, ’28, for their dedication and leadership in making this event such a success. We are also grateful to the 21 parent volunteers whose time and effort made a lasting impact.
The Book Fair may be over, but the joy of reading continues. Happy reading, Far Hills!
