Falcons Soar at NJ-NY Middle School Ethics Bowl, Achieving Best-Ever Finish

Last Saturday, Far Hills proudly competed in the 6th Annual NJ-NY Middle School Ethics Bowl at Kent Place, showcasing our student's critical thinking, teamwork, and ethical reasoning. Representing our school were Grade 8 students, Jack S. '25 and Ryden M. '25, alongside Grade 6 students Lucas L. '27, Siena I. '27, and Julian S. '27.

The Falcons came out strong, securing a hard-fought victory over Stevens Cooperative from Jersey City in the opening round. The second round was a nail-biter, with Far Hills falling by a single point to The Packer Collegiate Institute from Brooklyn in a match that demonstrated their ability to engage in thoughtful and articulate debate. In the third and final round, the team delivered their most impressive performance against the Ethical Culture Fieldston School from the Bronx, where they narrowly missed advancing past the eventual champions.

This year marked Far Hills’ best-ever showing at the annual event, a testament to the dedication and preparation of our students. Their strong performance not only reflected their intellectual curiosity and sportsmanship but also set the stage for even greater achievements next year. With this experience under their belts, the Falcons are poised to return stronger than ever next year.
