Falcon’s Learning Nest Kicks Off Its First Class of the Year
On Monday, October 6, Far Hills welcomed families to the first Falcon’s Learning Nest class of the year. The morning was filled with movement, creativity, and connection as children and caregivers participated in engaging, hands-on activities designed to nurture curiosity and joy in early learning.
The class began with a lively group circle, where children and their grown-ups sang songs, moved to the rhythm, and shared smiles as they got to know one another. These opening activities set the tone for a warm, welcoming space where every child could feel comfortable exploring and expressing themselves.
After circle time, the fun continued with a seasonal twist—a mini pumpkin hunt around the Piazza. Each child searched for their own small pumpkin and then decorated it using stickers. The room buzzed with excitement as the children proudly showed off their creations, adding their own artistic flair and personality to each design. Alongside their real pumpkins, the children also colored paper pumpkin templates, blending creativity with fine motor skill practice in a playful and purposeful way.
To finish the morning, families headed outdoors for playground time. The crisp fall weather provided the perfect setting for laughter, exploration, and new friendships to take shape. As children ran, climbed, and played together, the sense of community that defines the Falcon’s Learning Nest was on full display.
The Falcon’s Learning Nest program continues to offer young children and their caregivers meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together. Through music, movement, storytelling, art, and play, each session invites families to experience the joy of discovery while strengthening the foundational skills that support lifelong learning.
