A Spook-tacular Halloween Celebration at Far Hills
From K-pop demon hunters and wizards to superheroes, princesses, and silly monsters, Halloween at Far Hills was a boo-tiful day to remember! Every corner of campus buzzed with excitement, laughter, and creativity as students, teachers, and families came together for one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year.
The morning kicked off with our beloved Lower School Halloween Parades, where students from Preschool through Grade 4 proudly showed off their imaginative costumes—ranging from football zombies and Minions to blow-up characters and more! Families lined the Piazza Circle, cheering, clapping, and snapping photos as our youngest Falcons sang, danced, and spread festive joy.
This year, Upper School students joined the fun, gathering to cheer on their Lower School friends, siblings, and younger grade-level buddies. This special connection tied beautifully into our curriculum’s emphasis on mentorship and community—allowing older students to celebrate alongside their buddies and share in the magic of the day.
Throughout the day, classrooms across campus turned into hubs of Halloween fun. Students participated in themed activities, creative projects, and festive games that brought out both giggles and grins. The Upper School showed off their school spirit with group costumes inspired by candy bars, Men in Black, Top Gun, superheroes, Dr. Seuss characters, animals, and Sesame Street favorites—bringing imagination and laughter to every hallway.
Meanwhile, faculty and staff joined in on the fun by dressing as beloved children’s book characters, adding even more color and creativity to the celebration.
In Grade 8 Science, students took part in a special Halloween-themed experiment with dry ice, blending spooky fun with hands-on learning. Then, in the afternoon, the Upper School gathered in the Commons for two exciting Student Council–led activities: a lively game of musical chairs followed by a short scavenger hunt—both guaranteed to keep the energy (and laughter) going strong until the end of the day.
It was truly a fang-tastic day filled with laughter, friendship, and Far Hills pride—a Halloween celebration that reminded everyone that when our community comes together, the magic is no trick—just a treat!
