Sons’ Night Out Strikes Up Fun and Community
Far Hills families gathered on Saturday, February 28, for a lively and memorable Sons’ Night Out, as boys from Preschool through Grade 8 headed to Lucky Strike in Green Brook for an afternoon of bowling, arcade games, and connection with their moms and special guests.
With every lane filled, the event brought together families from across divisions for an afternoon full of laughter, friendly competition, and Falcon spirit. Younger boys cheered enthusiastically for every strike and spare, while the older students leaned into some spirited competition of their own. Meanwhile, moms and caregivers enjoyed time to catch up, while also showing off some impressive bowling skills of their own.
The afternoon was thoughtfully organized by Kasey Schwartz P’29, ’34, who planned every detail, from lane assignments to bowling-themed take-home bags and socks for the boys. One of the event’s most memorable touches was a keepsake bowling pin that circulated among attendees, collecting signatures from participants throughout the afternoon.
After bowling wrapped up, families continued the fun in the arcade, where students used their game cards to play games, win prizes, and celebrate a successful afternoon.
Events like Sons’ Night Out highlight what makes the Far Hills community so special: opportunities for families across grades to connect, celebrate, and enjoy time together beyond the classroom.
