Falcon Supper Club: A Night of Community, Connection, and Celebration

Far Hills Country Day School's Falcon Supper Club on Saturday, November 15, was an extraordinary celebration of community spirit, generosity, and the shared mission that unites Far Hills families. With 150 guests participating across 8 dinner parties, the evening showcased the depth of connection and commitment that make Far Hills truly exceptional.

The night began on campus with festive cocktails, signature bites, and warm conversation before guests gathered for a heartfelt welcome program. Head of School Georgia Zaiser reflected on the vibrancy of the Far Hills community and the power of collective support. The audience also heard expressions of gratitude from our event co-chairs, Tucky Ridder ‘91 and Liz Sobel, followed by inspiring remarks from both a faculty member, Julie Blanco P'12 '17, and alumna Eva Olesky Ostrowsky '01, that brought the mission of Far Hills vividly to life. "The first Falcon Supper Club at Far Hills Country Day School was a huge success! The night was filled with a lot of heart. From an inspiring alumni speaker, a parent auctioneer, enthusiastic bidders, to all the gracious hosts to opened their homes for festive dinner parties. With the deep appreciation for all our amazing teachers, we were able to raise a lot of money for their benefit."
— Tucky Ridder ‘91, Falcon Supper Club Co-Chair

"As co-chair of this year’s Falcon Supper Club, I was truly blown away by the overwhelmingly positive response from our community. This new format—bringing families together for smaller, more intimate dinner parties—created exactly the warm, approachable atmosphere we hoped for. The evening was filled with connection, fun, and a shared commitment to supporting our incredible FHCDS faculty.

Julie’s and Eva’s heartfelt remarks deeply resonated with guests and beautifully highlighted why this community is so special. Another highlight was welcoming back so many alumni families. Their presence reminded us that our alumni are the heart of FHCDS, and events like this are a wonderful way to show that they will forever remain part of our School, long after graduation. We are so grateful to everyone who participated, hosted, and supported this meaningful night!”

The welcome program built to an exciting close with a spirited raffle, live auction, and paddle raise, all benefiting faculty salaries, benefits, and professional development. These essential funds ensure Far Hills can continue to attract, support, and retain the exceptional educators who shape our students’ curiosity, character, and confidence every day. The community’s generosity made a profound impact. The live and silent auctions, raffle, and paddle raise collectively netted more than $164,000. Combined with over $70,000 raised in ticket sales and sponsorships, the Falcon Supper Club surpassed expectations. Because the event centered on in-home gatherings rather than large external venues, expenses remain low, ensuring the overwhelming majority of funds go directly toward supporting and celebrating our exceptional faculty.

“Seeing our community come together with such enthusiasm and purpose is truly inspiring,” shared Tom Evans, Director of Development. “Because of the tremendous generosity of the hosts, every contribution directly supports the extraordinary educators who shape our students’ lives. The Falcon Supper Club is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together.”

After the on-campus celebration, families dispersed to intimate, grade-based dinners held in homes throughout the community. These gatherings offered more than a delicious meal—they embodied the values that define Far Hills: connection, collaboration, belonging, and genuine care. Each host home became a warm extension of campus, where conversations flowed easily, new relationships were formed, and the Falcon spirit thrived. We offer our deepest gratitude to the 11 generous families who opened their homes to make the evening special.

The Falcon Supper Club beautifully showcased what makes Far Hills remarkable: its people. The joy, generosity, and unity on display reflected a community committed to supporting one another and investing in what matters most: our children and the educators who guide them.

A Note of Appreciation
