Far Hills Country Day School Joins #LightItBlue Movement for COVID-19 Frontline Workers

On Thursday, April 16, 2020, Far Hills Country Day School, a co-educational private Preschool–Grade 8 school in Far Hills, NJ, lit the school building in blue in honor of COVID-19 frontline workers. Far Hills Country Day School Acting Head of School Georgia S. Zeiser invited the Bernardsville Police and Fire Departments to visit the school building to see it lit blue in their honor.

"Far Hills Country Day School was illuminated in a beacon of blue to say thank you to the healthcare workers and first-responders,” said Far Hills Country Day School Acting Head of School Georgia S. Zaiser. “We stand Falcon strong and recognize their heroic efforts on the front lines of this pandemic.”

“The Bernardsville Police greatly appreciate the support of the Far Hills Country Day School Community during this difficult time,” said Bernardsville Police Chief, former Far Hills Country Day School parent Kevin Valentine. “While others are secure in their homes, first responders continue to put the needs and safety of others before their own.”
