Service Learning

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

Our club is a vibrant and essential part of the Upper School, comprising dedicated students committed to making a positive impact in our local community.

Each grade level from Preschool through Grade 8 is involved in these projects, guided by our Upper School members. This collaboration not only enhances the impact of our efforts but also teaches younger students valuable lessons in empathy, teamwork, and community service.

Through various projects, we collaborate with younger students from Preschool through Grade 8, fostering a spirit of empathy, support, and community service across all grade levels.

Our Mission

The Service Learning Club aims to instill values of compassion, civic responsibility, and social awareness in our students. By engaging in meaningful service projects, our students learn the importance of giving back to the community and understand the profound impact they can have when they work together.

We are proud to collaborate with several local organizations, including:

Our Most Recent Project: Moms Helping Moms (MHM) Diaper Drive

The drive was the largest drive the MHM Foundation has yet to receive for Mother's Day! It brought in 11,158 baby wipes, 4,589 diapers, 302 period products, 160 nursing supplies, 33 hygiene items, and 2 containers of formula and food!

Supply drives are vital to the MHM Foundation as they not only bring in much-needed supplies but also help raise awareness in the community about diaper needs and period poverty. Your donations are an investment in strengthening families and helping to alleviate caregiver stress, ease the financial strain, and provide the supplies they need to keep their children and themselves healthy. Thank you for your support!

The Impact of Our Work

The Service Learning Club provides an incredible opportunity for our students to grow as compassionate and active citizens. By working closely with local communities and organizations, our students learn firsthand the significance of supporting those around them. The lessons they take away from these experiences are invaluable and extend far beyond the classroom.

Through their actions, the Far Hills community exemplified compassion and kindness, proving that the holiday season is a time for not only celebration but also for uplifting one another.
