Is there active oversight in the Extended Day program and Enrichment Classes?

Yes. Brian Junger, Director of Auxiliary Programs, oversees every aspect of the Extended Day and Enrichment programs.

The program is designed to be one with active and engaged supervision. The goal of the program is to bring the school's mission into after school activities, providing a safe, stimulating and fun environment for students.

How long are Enrichment Classes?

Classes run for 60 minutes (45 minutes for Introduction to Piano). The start and end times for each class are listed in the Enrichment Class Offerings section of the website. When Enrichment classes end (either 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.), students are welcomed to join the Extended Day program until 6:00 p.m.

When are Enrichment Classes in session?

Enrichment Classes are in session when school is open for a full day.

Where do I sign up for Extended Day and Enrichment Classes?

Registration and payment is collected exclusively online.

What happens to Enrichment Classes if school closes early or we have a snow day?

If school is canceled or there is an unscheduled closing, Enrichment Classes will not be held. Every effort will be made to make up missed classes in the event of unforeseen closures.

What happens to Extended Day when school dismisses early?

When school dismisses at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, we still run the Extended Day program.

Where does my child go between dismissal and the start of his/her Enrichment Class?

For those who sign up for Enrichment Classes only (and not Extended Day), students will join the Extended Day program for snack time and homework until their Enrichment Class begins.

What is the Behavior Policy?

Expected students behavior is the same in Extended Day and Enrichment Classes as it is in classrooms during the school day. All class offerings should be thoroughly enjoyed by all. If any behavior concerns arise during the Extended Day or Enrichment programs, parents will be contacted to resolve the issue. If an issue persists, the student may be asked to leave the program/class.

Where do I pick up my child?

At the conclusion of each Enrichment Class, children in PreK–Grade 5 will be escorted back to the Arcade and be dismissed by the supervisor. Children may also stay in Extended Day until 6:00 p.m., if the parent so chooses.

What do I do if I'm running late to pick up my child?

Call Brian Junger as soon as you know you will be late. We will keep your child in the Extended Day program until you arrive.

Before 5 p.m., call the school: 908-766-0622
After 5 p.m., call Brian Junger's cell: 908-300-7820

What is your cancellation policy for Enrichment Classes?

You may cancel at any time but please note that there is a 20% cancellation fee after classes begin. After week two, no refunds will be given.
