All classes will begin the week of January 7, 2019. This is our first week back so sign up now. 

  • Enrichment classes will not be held when there is a 2 p.m. dismissal.
  • Extended Day and Enrichment do not take place on days when there is a 12 p.m. dismissal.

Intro to Piano—FULL

Instructor: Jessica Fielding, Conservatory Teacher at FH

  • Grades: PreK4–Grade 1
  • Time: 3:30 p.m.–4:15 p.m.

Do you have a four-, five-, or six-year old year old student who is interested in piano? This class is a great place to start. Intro to Piano is geared for young children to learn the basics of piano in a group setting. Ms. Jessica Fielding, a Music Conservatory teacher at Far Hills, teaches this course using the Music for Little Mozarts curriculum. This curriculum is written specifically for young ages and provides a balance between the discipline necessary for playing the piano, and the enjoyment one receives from the process of music making. Unplugged Games—10 spaces available

Instructor: Darcy Petrie, Teacher at FH  

  • Grades: K-2
  • Time: 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $235

Take a break from screen time and play some classic card, board and dice games with your friends! Students will practice deciphering and negotiating rules of the game, understanding strategy vs games of chance, and good sportsmanship.  We will also create and play our own original game at the end of the session.


Fun with Fruits (Cooking)—10 spaces available

Instructor: Jill Tuazon, Teacher at FH

Come join Ms. Tuazon in yet another fun filled cooking class. This time she will dazzle you with delicious fruits of all kinds. Imagine what you can enjoy with apples, bananas, strawberries, oranges, lemon, pineapple, lime and mangos. 

Theater Workshop

Instructor: Jessica Fielding, Conservatory Teacher at FH

Do you have a 3rd or 4th grade student looking for a place to be innovative, courageous and spontaneous? This is a great class to explore these ideas and celebrate the unique imagination of each student. In this workshop style theater class, students will be working alongside conservatory teacher, Ms. Jessica Fielding, as they explore character development, stage presence, improvisation and scene writing. This class is great for all students, including those interested in pursuing theater performances or those just looking for a fun chance to be creative!



Piazza Cooking Fun!

Instructor: Josie Dudzik, Extended Day and Summer Camp Counselor at FH

Join Josie as she introduces all types of fun recipes to your child. Our recipe preparation will be fun and help us practice skills including weighing and measuring, following directions, food hygiene and recognizing ingredients. 

The Checkmate Chess Club

Instructor: Peter McBride, Teacher at FH

  • Grades: 2–5
  • Time: 4–5 p.m.

Chess is a wonderful game that unlocks a child’s imagination and teaches them to think, plan and strategize. The Checkmate Chess Club is for beginner and intermediate players in grades 2-5. Participants in this class will work on puzzles, learn new moves, and play games in a fun, stress-free environment.

Winter Robotics Challenge

Instructor: Monica Lluch, EdTech Consultant

  • Time: 3:30–4:30 p.m.

Come explore the world of coding with activities designed to build your coding skills.  Dash will need your help to navigate various challenges while you learn and apply more advanced coding skills (loops, events) to create a more elegant code.  Sessions will focus on a specific skill to master through various challenges of your choosing. You will use Seesaw to document your progress throughout this winter enrichment program.


TGA Golf—10 spaces available

Instructor: TGA Golf Pro

TGA stands for Teach-Grow-Achieve. TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn and play golf right on their school campus! Our curriculums were specially designed by industry-leading golf professionals and education specialists to ensure that the lesson plans are age-appropriate and easy to understand and retain. Students will experience a mix of golf instruction, rules and etiquette lessons, educational components, character development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the five-level program. Our screened and certified instructors have a passion for working with children and are trained to help your student-athlete develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge as well as a passion for the sport. These concepts are the foundation of our program. We introduce the lifelong sport of golf at a young age that provides a safe and fun enriching experience for children. Our golf coach will help your child develop their skills and passion for golf. TGA prides themselves on your child walking away from their programs having learned life skills such as respect, honesty, perseverance and sportsmanship. Only 10 spaces available.


STEM & LEGO Engineering—14 spaces available

Did you know that engineering concepts used by professionals can be taught through LEGO play and building activities? Building a city, tower or neighborhood with LEGOS and building materials  isn’t just fun, it’s a learning experience. Students will have the freedom to explore, create, problem-solve and cooperatively work with one another on both simple and complex projects. Student innovators will use a variety of building materials such as legos, tape, straws and craft sticks to build, design and create structures bridges and much much more. The class culminates in a Design Museum, created by the students, to showcase their masterpieces.

Music & Movement with Yoga- 14 spaces available

Instructor: Linda Houghland, Teacher at FH

Keep warm and active this winter and join Mrs. Houghland for a hybrid class of yoga and dance. If you like to relax, stretch and listen to some great music be sure to check this class out. Choreograph some fun dance moves and keep yourself moving during the cold months of winter.


Kiddie Soccer

Instructor: Kiddie Soccer Coaches

  • Grades: PreK (4 years) –Grade 1
  • Time: 3:30–4:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $220

Kiddie Soccer is a fun-filled and age appropriate soccer program for PreK–Grade 1 boys and girls. The sessions are based on various thematic games that are fun and non-competitive, yet instructional. The coaching staff are men and women who coach and play soccer, but more importantly, are experienced in working with young children. All participants receive a Kiddie Soccer t-shirt after the first class, and a Kiddie Soccer participation medal when the class concludes.

Sports & Games

Come join the fun as we play kick ball, nok hockey, basketball, try to defeat the Rubik’s Cube and much, much more. Mixing old school and new school sports and games. Space is limited so be the first to join this high energy class as you head into the weekend.
