Online Enrichment Classes

*Open to current Far Hills students only.

Stay sharp! Online enrichment classes offer students the opportunity to strengthen their reading and writing skills from wherever their summer takes them. The 4th & 5th grade courses are designed to develop their numeracy skills in real-life situations as well. Weekly office hours will be offered by each instructor. A final project will be arranged for the last week of each of the enrichment classes.

Head of the House Challenge!

It's been planned for months. Everyone is excited! You will be responsible to take care of your family and household for 1 week in the summer. That’s right—you have won the challenge. How will you do it? You will go shopping, balance your checkbook, and maybe even find time for some summer fun!

A Classic Read—Online Literature Enrichment Class

Over four weeks this summer, students in this course will explore a classic novel through a guided reading schedule, book discussions with peers and small writing prompts. Students will read, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Ms. Seelaus will lead online discussions, offer writing prompts and feedback and guide students through a final project at the end of the novel. This is a unique opportunity for students to explore a classic piece of literature this summer from the comfort of their own home.
