From Our Division Head

One of the things that makes our Upper School experience so exceptional is the unwavering dedication of our faculty and staff. Our teachers are passionate educators who truly know each student—not only as learners, but as individuals. They serve as mentors, advisors, coaches, and role models, creating meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, encourage curiosity, and challenge students to reach their full potential.

Our Upper School is intentionally designed to prepare students for success in high school and beyond. Through a challenging academic program, hands-on learning experiences, leadership opportunities, and meaningful service, students develop the critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Whether they are conducting scientific research, designing innovative solutions in our STEAM spaces, performing on stage, competing on our athletic fields, or leading school traditions, our students are encouraged to pursue excellence while remaining true to themselves.

Just as important as our academic program is the strong sense of belonging that defines our community. We believe students learn best when they feel known, valued, and connected. Our classrooms are places where ideas are shared openly, diverse perspectives are celebrated, and every student is encouraged to contribute.

At Far Hills, we strive to develop not only exceptional students but thoughtful, compassionate, and confident young people who lead with integrity and purpose. Our graduates leave with the academic foundation, character, and resilience to excel in the nation's top secondary schools and make meaningful contributions wherever their journeys take them.

Whether you are a current family, a prospective parent, or a first-time visitor, I invite you to explore all that our Upper School has to offer. I hope you will discover what makes Far Hills such a remarkable place—a community where students are challenged, supported, inspired, and encouraged to become their very best selves.
