Music Conservatory

The Far Hills Conservatory is open to all Far Hills students in Preschool–Grade 8. Started in 2002, the Far Hills Conservatory has seven adjunct professors who are specialists on their instruments. Piano lessons are available to students in Preschool–Grade 8. The following instruments are offered to students in Grades 3–8:  clarinet, saxophone, flute, guitar, violin (beginner), and drums. Voice lessons are offered to students in Grades 3 and up, depending on the vocal coach and the readiness of the student.

This Summer!

The Far Hills Conservatory is offering online lesson packages for ages 3 and up. Students who have been taking lessons, and students who are new to lessons, can sign up for five, seven, or ten 30-minute lesson packages.

To register, go to Camp Brain, login, and click on "Far Hills Summer Conservatory: 2020", pick an instrument and a teacher (a link to the teachers' bios is on the page), and register for the lessons.

  • Piano is offered for ages 3 and up.
  • Voice is offered for ages 6 and up.
  • Drums and guitar are offered for ages 7 and up.
  • Saxophone, flute, and clarinet are offered for ages 8 and up.
