Far Hills Country Day School admits students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and scholarship programs. 

All students applying for admission to Far Hills must complete the application process in order to be considered for admission to the school. The process varies according to the grade level to which the student is applying, but all applicants must submit the Far Hills application form and complete the required process.

Far Hills charges the Admission Committee to make decisions in the best interest of the school and specific grade level. Applicants will be admitted based on the school’s ability to meet the student’s academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and on the basis of available space.

Far Hills, in accordance with its commitment to be a family-centered school, gives special consideration to qualified siblings of currently enrolled students and to children of Far Hills employees. In addition, Far Hills looks with special consideration upon those applicants otherwise associated with the school. Given the above considerations, there is no guarantee of admission.

The Far Hills Admission Office adheres to the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Principles of Good Practice for Admission to Independent Schools.
