Tuition Assistance

It is Far Hill Country Day School’s desire to provide tuition assistance to academically qualified students in need. We contract with a third party processing firm, TADS, to process our applications for need and assist in determining a family’s ability to pay. Requests for aid generally outpace funds available. Tuition assistance dollars are allocated based upon need and spaces available within a division or grade. Application and decisions on assistance awards are made annually and assistance must be reapplied for each year.

The TADS application site opens to our families on December 1st. All tuition assistance applications must be completed in TADS. Tax returns for 2016 can be submitted at any time. Applications for financial aid are subject to a “first come first served” process for review.

All tuition assistance applications are reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee and remain confidential within that group. Recipients of assistance awards are also expected to maintain confidentiality regarding any award they receive or the award may be revoked. All tuition assistance awards are subject to final review of the family’s tax return.

Far Hills Country Day School follows a need-blind admission policy. This means that students are considered for admission independently of their need for tuition assistance.
